My name is Dafne Manhart and I am your Parent Coordinator at Townsend Harris High School.

My role as parent coordinator is, along with others, to continue creating a welcoming atmosphere for parents/families.

	To serve as a liaison between staff and parents and community
	Share information on school and/or Department of Education events
	Help you become more involved in our school community
	Organize workshops/seminars and other learning experiences
	Be here to listen to you when you need to speak with someone

Your child is in High School now and needs your involvement more than ever.  Adolescents will be making critical decisions concerning educational and career choices.  They might experiment with risky behavior and they need parental oversight.  To succeed in High School they need parental monitoring and encouragement.  I'm here to help you give that encouragement and  monitoring.

If we work together we can make your children's High School years successful & enjoyable.
