Anatomy and Physiology

In this one-term course, students will learn the details of how the parts of their body work to allow them to function. The components of various body systems, their individual functions and the combined effect will all be examined through classroom and laboratory activities. The lab activities will allow the students to view the anatomical details studied in class and will enable students to see th everything together and allow for the proper functioning of the body. Diseases and problems associated with the different systems of the body will also be covered in this class.e connections that hold

 Pre-Requisites: Regents Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, which may be taken as a co-requisite. Students must be willing to actively participate in classroom debates and make presentations to the class.

Restrictions: This course is open only to juniors and seniors. Candidates should have an overall minimum average of 90% and a minimum science average of 90% and/or the permission of the Department Supervisor.
