HUMANITIES @TOWNSEND HARRIS HIGH SCHOOL
Susan Getting, Assistant Principal

The Humanities Department seeks to cultivate intellect and intellectual investigation. This involves the stimulation of independent critical thinking, aesthetic awareness, creative problem solving, and encouragement of the imagination. We seek to provide each student with the oral and written expertise to express and analyze difficult, sophisticated ideas. Our historical partnership with Queens College forged a curriculum that would challenge our intellectually gifted, talented student body.

It's once again time for our annual Culture Vulture.
